Job Description:

• 
  

  Will report directly  with the Field Team Lead while working closely with the Project Associate, Program Manager, and other team members to understand the project goals and to meet expectations.

  
  


• 
  

  Plan and organise field activities with the project team which includes training and capacity building and outreaches.

  
  


• 
  

  Carry out in-depth field research on small businesses and their way of operations in Lagos, Nigeria.

  
  


• 
  

  Recruit participants for the E-bookkeeping project

  
  


• 
  

  Contribute to information-sharing and data management systems by collecting, recording, and analysing data.

  
  


• 
  

  Maintain flexibility to take on added responsibilities as and when needed.

  
  


• 
  

  Contribute to the positive image and overall credibility of the organisation, notably through the application of the organisation’s Code of Conduct.

  
  

Requirements:

• 
  

  Degree in Social Work, International Development/Relations, Public Administration or other relevant fields of study.

  
  


• 
  

  Two years’ experience in program design and implementation, in a similar role, will be an added advantage.

  
  


• 
  

  Proficiency in local languages preferably Yoruba, Igbo, Hausa and English languages is a must.

  
  


• 
  

  Have excellent oral and written expression skills in English.

  
  


• 
  

  Proven knowledge and experience in developing and implementing community mobilisation projects and stakeholder engagement.

  
  


• 
  

  Good knowledge and understanding of the environment (Lagos) and the people, including culture.

  
  


• 
  

  Ability to exercise sound judgement, to remain flexible to a changing environment, and to make decisions independently.

  
  


• 
  

  High level of computer literacy.

  
  


• 
  

  Demonstrate willingness to work in a team.

  Applicants must reside in Lagos within areas close to any of the following areas; Alimosho, Idumota, Ladipo, Trade fair, Alaba, Jakara, Arena and Oshodi
