Job Summary

• Our client is seeking a passionate, knowledgeable, and student-focused Physics Teacher to join our academic team.


• The ideal candidate will be responsible for teaching Senior Secondary School students, preparing them for internal and external examinations, and fostering a strong understanding of physics concepts through engaging and simplified teaching methods.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach Physics to Senior Secondary School students in line with the approved curriculum.


• Prepare lesson plans, schemes of work, and instructional materials.


• Simplify complex physics concepts to enhance students’ understanding.


• Conduct practical experiments and demonstrations where applicable.


• Prepare students for WAEC, NECO, and other external examinations.


• Assess and evaluate students’ academic performance regularly.


• Provide extra lessons when necessary (based on student availability).


• Maintain accurate academic records and reports.


• Foster a positive, disciplined, and supportive classroom environment.


• Identify students’ learning needs and provide tailored support.


• Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and school activities.

Requirements & Qualifications

• HND or B.Sc. in Education (Physics) or a related discipline.


• Minimum of 3 years’ experience teaching Physics at the Senior Secondary level.


• Strong mastery of physics concepts and practical application.


• Experience preparing students for WAEC/NECO is an added advantage.


• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.


• Ability to simplify complex topics for diverse learners.


• Teachable, adaptable, and open to continuous improvement.


• Attentive to students’ academic and emotional needs.


• Good moral character and professional conduct.


• Punctual, reliable, and well-organized.


• Ability to work collaboratively.
