Job Summary




  • The Quantity Surveyor / Construction Admin (NYSC) will assist in cost estimation, project documentation, and procurement processes while gaining practical industry exposure.



Key Responsibilities




  • Assist in preparing Bills of Quantities (BOQs).

  • Support cost estimation and budget tracking.

  • Assist with vendor comparisons and procurement documentation.

  • Maintain project records and contract documentation.

  • Support the preparation of valuation reports.

  • Monitor material usage under supervision.

  • Provide general administrative support for project coordination.



Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)




  • Accuracy of documentation.

  • Timely support on cost reports.

  • Proper record-keeping and filing.

  • Responsiveness to procurement tasks.

  • Demonstrated improvement in cost analysis skills.



Qualifications




  • Candidates should possess a B.Sc./HND in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.

  • Currently serving (NYSC Corps Member).

  • Basic knowledge of construction cost management tools is an advantage.
