Key Responsibilities
Financial Management:
- Maintain accurate financial records of all company transactions.
- Prepare monthly financial reports for management review.
- Monitor income and expenses across real estate projects.
- Prepare cash flow reports and financial summaries.
- Maintain proper documentation of financial transactions.
Property Sales & Client Accounts:
- Record and track client payments for land and property purchases.
- Monitor installment payment plans and outstanding balances.
- Issue receipts and payment confirmations to clients.
- Reconcile sales records with bank transactions.
- Maintain accurate client financial records.
Banking & Reconciliation:
- Perform regular bank reconciliations.
- Monitor company bank accounts and transactions.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies.
- Prepare payment schedules for vendors and contractors.
Accounts & Payroll:
- Process staff salaries and maintain payroll records.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable.
- Track operational expenses.
- Maintain vendor and contractor payment records.
Tax & Compliance:
- Prepare and remit statutory deductions (PAYE, Pension, NHF, NSITF).
- Assist with tax filing and compliance.
- Maintain proper records for audit purposes.
- Ensure compliance with financial policies and regulations.
Reporting:
- Prepare weekly and monthly financial reports.
- Provide financial data to management for decision-making.
- Maintain organized financial files and records.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields
- Minimum of 2 - 4 years accounting experience.
- Knowledge of financial reporting and bookkeeping.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good analytical and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- ICAN or ACCA (or in view)
- Experience handling property sales transactions.
- Experience with installment payment tracking.
- Knowledge of Nigerian tax regulations.
