Role Overview
- We are looking for a Business Development Manager who will drivebusiness growth by identifying and acquiring new clients through strategic research, networking, and compelling pitches.
- Builds and maintains strong client relationships to ensure satisfaction, loyalty, and repeat business.
- Develops tailored proposals in collaboration with internal creative and strategy teams to deliver impactful solutions.
- Conducts market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive insights that inform business strategies.
- Tracks performance metrics, optimizes conversion strategies, and represents the agency at industry events to strengthen brand presence and partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
Client Acquisition:
- Identify and target potential clients through research , pitches and networking.
- Develop and execute strategies to engage new clients and win new business.
Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to foster loyalty and repeat business.
- Conduct regular check-ins and feedback sessions to ensure client satisfaction.
Proposal Development:
- Prepare and present compelling proposals and pitches to prospective clients.
- Collaborate with creative teams to develop tailored solutions that meet client needs.
Market Analysis:
- Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive threats.
- Analyze client needs and industry developments to inform business strategies.
Collaboration with Internal Teams:
- Work closely with creative, and strategy teams to align efforts and ensure seamless project execution.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration across departments to meet client objectives.
Performance Tracking:
- Monitor and report on business development metrics, including lead generation, conversion rates, and revenue growth.
- Adjust strategies based on performance data and market feedback.
Networking and Brand Promotion:
- Attend industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to represent the agency and build connections.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Admin, Marketing, Communications etc.
- Master’s Degree (e.g., MBA, MSc in Marketing/Communications) will be an advantage.
- 3 – 5 years of progressive experience in Business development, Media, advertising, or communications industries.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
- Experience managing client relationships and closing deals.
- Experience in Experience in: Digital media, Content strategy, Partnerships and sponsorships, Strategic market expansion is desirable.
