Purpose of the Role




  • To ensure a clean, neat, and conducive working environment for staff and guests of The Bible Society, in line with required standards and work schedules.

  • To contribute to organizational goals by maintaining a professional office environment and supporting administrative operations.



Key Responsibilities

Cleaning & Facility Support:




  • Ensure thorough cleaning of office rooms, desks, shelves, chairs, windows, and other office equipment.

  • Maintain a clean, neat, and welcoming office environment at all times.

  • Adhere to established cleaning schedules and standards.



Administrative Support:




  • Properly record and track incoming and outgoing mail within assigned offices.

  • Support confidential secretaries in mail documentation and filing processes.



Organizational Support:




  • Assist in distributing Holy Scriptures as required by the organization.

  • Support fundraising activities for the organization when necessary.

  • Carry out any other duties assigned by the supervising officer.



Person Specification

Educational Qualification and Experience:




  • Minimum of Senior School Certificate (SSCE) or equivalent qualification with 1 year experience

  • Previous experience in office cleaning or administrative support is an advantage.



Competencies & Attributes:




  • High level of discipline and reliability.

  • Strong attention to detail.

  • Ability to maintain cleanliness and order consistently.

  • Basic record-keeping ability.

  • Good interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
