Purpose of the Role
- To ensure a clean, neat, and conducive working environment for staff and guests of The Bible Society, in line with required standards and work schedules.
- To contribute to organizational goals by maintaining a professional office environment and supporting administrative operations.
Key Responsibilities
Cleaning & Facility Support:
- Ensure thorough cleaning of office rooms, desks, shelves, chairs, windows, and other office equipment.
- Maintain a clean, neat, and welcoming office environment at all times.
- Adhere to established cleaning schedules and standards.
Administrative Support:
- Properly record and track incoming and outgoing mail within assigned offices.
- Support confidential secretaries in mail documentation and filing processes.
Organizational Support:
- Assist in distributing Holy Scriptures as required by the organization.
- Support fundraising activities for the organization when necessary.
- Carry out any other duties assigned by the supervising officer.
Person Specification
Educational Qualification and Experience:
- Minimum of Senior School Certificate (SSCE) or equivalent qualification with 1 year experience
- Previous experience in office cleaning or administrative support is an advantage.
Competencies & Attributes:
- High level of discipline and reliability.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and order consistently.
- Basic record-keeping ability.
- Good interpersonal skills.
