Job Summary
- Responsible for developing a deep understanding of client business and marketing objectives and translating them into effective strategies.
- The role uses insights, storytelling, and data to develop strategies that serve as the foundation for impactful and successful campaigns.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Planning:
- Understand clients’ businesses, markets, and brands to define and address their key strategic challenges.
- Work with Client Service, Creative, and the SAMS (Strategy, Analytics, Media and Social Media) teams to develop integrated communication strategies.
- Collaborate with the Creative team to ensure campaign ideas align with strategy and client objectives.
- Support new business initiatives and pitch development when required.
- Develop and deliver clear, compelling strategic presentations to clients.
- Build strong client relationships and respond effectively to strategic questions.
- Conduct brand reviews and maintain strong industry and market knowledge.
Operational & Team Support:
- Mentor and support junior team members.
- Promote collaboration across the SAMS team and partner agencies.
Financial & Project Management:
- Ensure research and material purchases are pre-approved and within budget.
- Ensure timely delivery of projects and accurate completion of timesheets.
- Identify strategic opportunities that can generate additional revenue for the agency.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Postgraduate degree or professional certification is an advantage.
- Proven experience developing innovative strategic solutions.
- Strong knowledge of branding, brand positioning, digital marketing, direct marketing, and CRM.
