- The Chief Operating Officer will oversee the daily operational performance of the business, ensuring that all departments function efficiently while supporting the company’s growth strategy.
- This role will be responsible for operational planning, performance monitoring, cross-functional coordination, and process optimization across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership:
- Oversee daily business operations across multiple departments and locations
- Ensure alignment between strategic objectives and operational execution
- Implement systems, processes, and structures that support business scalability
- Drive operational efficiency and improve organizational productivity
Business Growth & Strategy Execution:
- Translate leadership vision into executable operational strategies
- Identify new growth opportunities, operational improvements, and expansion opportunities
- Support the development and execution of strategic initiatives across the business
Performance & Accountability:
- Establish operational KPIs and performance metrics across teams
- Monitor departmental performance and drive accountability across leadership teams
- Identify operational bottlenecks and implement solutions quickly
Team Leadership & Organizational Development
- Lead, mentor, and manage cross-functional teams including sales, operations, and support functions
- Build a culture of ownership, accountability, and high performance
- Strengthen collaboration across departments to improve execution
Financial & Resource Management:
- Monitor operational costs and ensure efficient use of resources
- Support revenue growth by aligning operational structures with business goals
- Ensure business processes support profitability and sustainability
Process Improvement & Innovation:
- Design and implement scalable systems, policies, and operational frameworks
- Introduce process improvements that enhance productivity and efficiency
- Ensure operational readiness for business expansion
Requirements
Educational Qualification and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance, or a related discipline
- An MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification is an added advantage
- Minimum of 7 years professional experience with significant exposure to operations or business leadership roles
- Proven experience managing multi-functional teams or multi-unit operations
- Experience within fashion, retail, FMCG, or fast-paced consumer sectors is highly desirable
