Position Overview
- A private family is seeking a highly experienced, professional, and detail-oriented Live-In Housekeeper to maintain the cleanliness, organization, and smooth daily running of their private residence.
- The ideal candidate is a mature female between 30–45 years old with proven experience working in private homes or luxury residential settings.
- The successful candidate must demonstrate exceptional housekeeping standards, strong organizational skills, discretion, and the ability to maintain a pristine living environment while respecting the privacy and lifestyle of the family.
Key Responsibilities
Housekeeping & Cleaning:
- Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the residence at all times.
- Perform daily, weekly, and deep cleaning of all living areas including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, living rooms, and common areas.
- Ensure proper care of delicate surfaces, high-value furniture, antiques, artwork, and luxury finishes.
- Dusting, vacuuming, mopping, polishing, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Cleaning and maintaining appliances, fixtures, and fittings.
- Make and change beds, manage linen rotation, and maintain fresh bedding.
Laundry & Wardrobe Management:
- Manage laundry, ironing, folding, and garment care to a professional standard.
- Handle delicate fabrics, designer clothing, and specialty garments appropriately.
- Maintain organized wardrobes and storage areas.
- Monitor laundry supplies and ensure proper garment care procedures are followed.
Household Organization:
- Ensure all rooms and storage areas are well organized and clutter-free.
- Maintain pantry, linen closets, and storage spaces in an orderly manner.
- Assist with seasonal wardrobe rotation and household organization projects.
- Keep cleaning supplies properly stocked and organized.
Household Support:
- Assist with table setting and light meal service when required.
- Help with guest room preparation and hospitality arrangements.
- Support the family during small gatherings or hosting occasions if needed.
- Run occasional household errands when assigned.
Inventory & Supplies Management:
- Monitor and maintain stock of cleaning supplies, toiletries, and household essentials.
- Notify the household manager or employer when items need replenishment.
- Ensure proper use and care of cleaning equipment.
Health, Safety & Security:
- Follow safe cleaning practices and proper use of household equipment.
- Maintain discretion and respect the privacy and confidentiality of the family at all times.
- Ensure the home environment remains safe, hygienic, and comfortable.
Candidate Requirements
- Interested candidates should possess a relevant qualification with 5-8 years experience.
- Female, aged 30 – 45 years.
- Proven experience working as a housekeeper in private homes, luxury residences, or high-standard household environments.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to excellence in housekeeping.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and follow household routines.
- Knowledge of modern cleaning techniques, products, and equipment.
