Key Responsibilities
Financial Record Keeping:
- Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions.
- Update accounting books and financial databases regularly.
Accounts Management:
- Prepare and manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Ensure timely payment of invoices and collection of receivables.
Bank Reconciliation:
- Reconcile bank statements with company financial records.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies.
Financial Reporting:
- Assist in preparing financial statements and reports.
- Provide financial information to management when required.
Budget Monitoring:
- Help monitor company budgets and expenditures.
- Ensure spending is within approved limits.
Compliance and Documentation:
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
- Maintain proper documentation for audits.
Tax and Statutory Payments:
- Assist in preparing tax returns and statutory payments.
- Ensure compliance with government financial regulations.
Support to Finance Department:
- Provide support during internal and external audits.
- Assist senior accountants or finance managers with financial analysis.
Key Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Strong attention to detail
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Integrity and confidentiality in handling financial data.
