The Van Sales Executive (VSE) is responsible for selling and distributing company products directly to retailers using a company van within the assigned territory.
The role involves achieving sales targets, expanding the customer base, maintaining good customer relationships, and ensuring proper stock and cash management.
Key Responsibilities
Sell and distribute company products to retailers within the assigned route or territory.
Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets set by the company.
Identify and develop new customers within the assigned territory.
Maintain strong relationships with retailers and customers.
Ensure proper product visibility and display at customer outlets.
Collect payments from customers and ensure proper documentation of all transactions.
Maintain accurate sales records and submit daily or weekly reports.
Ensure proper stock management in the van and avoid stock shortages.
Maintain the company van in good condition and follow company vehicle policies.
Provide market feedback, competitor activities, and customer complaints to the Field Sales Manager.
Requirements
Candidates should possess an OND / HND / B.Sc.
Must have previous experience in FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) sales.
Experience in Van Sales or Field Sales is an added advantage.
Valid driver’s license.
Good communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to meet sales targets and work independently.
