Job Summary

• We are seeking a diligent HSE Officer to ensure a safe and compliant working environment.


• You will monitor health, safety, and environmental practices, helping to protect employees, assets, and the company’s reputation.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor HSE policies, procedures, and programs.


• Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments.


• Investigate incidents, near-misses, and accidents; prepare reports and recommend corrective actions.


• Ensure compliance with local regulations and industry standards.


• Conduct HSE training and awareness sessions for staff.


• Maintain HSE records, permits, and documentation.


• Support emergency preparedness and response initiatives.

Requirements

• Relevant HSE certifications (NEBOSH, OSHA) preferred.


• Knowledge of local HSE laws and regulations.


• Strong analytical, observation, and problem-solving skills.


• Minimum of 4 years relevant experience.


• Must reside in Port Harcourt.
