About the Role
- We are recruiting an Operations Manager on behalf of a fintech client focused on delivering innovative financial services and digital payment solutions.
- The Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing daily operational activities, optimizing internal processes, and ensuring the efficient delivery of financial products and services.
- This role requires strong operational leadership, experience in financial services or fintech environments, and the ability to manage cross-functional teams while maintaining high service standards.
Key Responsibilities
Operations Management:
- Oversee the day-to-day operational activities of the organization to ensure efficiency and smooth service delivery.
- Develop and implement operational processes and policies that support business objectives.
- Monitor and improve operational performance across key business functions.
Process Optimization:
- Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, improve efficiency, and reduce operational risks.
- Implement systems and procedures to improve productivity and service quality.
- Ensure operational processes are aligned with company goals and industry best practices.
Team Leadership:
- Manage and supervise operational staff, providing guidance, training, and performance oversight.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the operations team.
Compliance & Risk Management:
- Ensure operations comply with financial regulations, internal policies, and industry standards.
- Monitor operational risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Work closely with compliance and risk teams to maintain regulatory adherence.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Collaborate with product, technology, sales, and finance teams to ensure seamless operational execution.
- Support the launch and scaling of new financial products and services.
Reporting & Performance Monitoring:
- Track operational metrics and prepare reports on performance, efficiency, and service delivery.
- Use data insights to drive operational improvements and strategic decisions.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in operations management, preferably in fintech, banking, or financial services.
- Strong understanding of financial operations, payment systems, or digital financial services.
- Proven ability to manage teams and improve operational efficiency.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience implementing operational processes and performance frameworks.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and evolving business environment.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience working in fintech startups or digital financial services companies.
- Familiarity with payment systems, lending operations, or financial product operations.
- Experience working with operational dashboards, data analysis tools, or process automation systems.
