We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to drive growth within the solar energy sector. This role is ideal for a commercially savvy professional with a strong understanding of renewable energy, who can identify opportunities, build strategic partnerships, and secure high-value contracts.



Key Responsibilities:




  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitors, and growth opportunities

  • Develop strategies to expand into new markets and sectors

  • Generate leads through networking, partnerships, and digital channels

  • Drive end-to-end sales processes including negotiations and deal closure

  • Manage and deliver Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) proposals

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners

  • Serve as the primary contact for key stakeholders

  • Develop compelling proposals and presentations

  • Identify and secure partnerships with installers, financiers, and government bodies

  • Secure funding for solar and EPC projects

  • Work with finance teams to structure viable investment opportunities

  • Manage government contracts, registrations, and tender processes



Requirements:




  • Bachelor’s in Engineering or related field; MBA is a plus

  • 10+ years in sales, with 5+ in the solar industry

  • Strong industry network and proven sales success

  • Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills
