Job Description

The Opportunity

  • We are engaging a high-calibre Director of Projects (Head of Projects) to take full ownership of a growing portfolio of complex construction projects.

  • This is a critical leadership role for a seasoned professional who has a proven track record of delivering large-scale projects, leading high-performing teams, and driving operational excellence within a structured construction environment.

  • You will be entrusted with end-to-end oversight of all project activities — from concept to delivery — with direct impact on business performance, profitability, and strategic growth.

Your Mandate

  • Lead and drive execution across multiple construction projects simultaneously

  • Take full ownership of project delivery: timeline, cost, quality, and risk

  • Build, lead, and enforce discipline across multidisciplinary project teams

  • Establish strong project governance, reporting structures, and accountability systems

  • Interface directly with clients, consultants, and regulatory authorities at a senior level

  • Drive cost efficiency, commercial performance, and contract compliance

  • Identify risks early and take decisive actions to protect project outcomes

What We Are Looking For

  • Minimum 15+ years’ experience in the construction industry

  • At least 7–10 years in senior leadership roles managing large-scale projects

  • Background in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Architecture, or related field

  • Demonstrated success in delivering complex, high-value construction projects

  • Strong commercial acumen and project financial management capability

  • A firm, decisive leader with the ability to enforce standards and drive results

  • Experience handling government or regulated projects is a strong advantage

Profile Fit:

  • This role is not for entry-level or mid-level professionals.

  • We are specifically seeking individuals who:

    • Have led major projects end-to-end

    • Are hands-on, not just supervisory

    • Can operate with minimal oversight at the executive level

    • Are comfortable being held fully accountable for project outcomes

    • Comfortable to travel as at any time needed.

Why This Role

  • Executive-level influence and decision-making authority

  • Opportunity to shape and lead high-value construction projects

  • Direct impact on organizational growth and project success

  • Competitive and performance-driven compensation structure
