Responsibilities

• Carry out duties assigned by the Early Care Lead


• Share in the responsibility for planning, preparing and implementing stimulating, age-appropriate activities in response to the children’s emerging interests and skills


• Will be in charge of food preparation and ensuring that the children are fed at appropriate times


• Will supervise the cleaning assistants to ensure a safe, hazard free, and clean environment


• Observe and take records(feeding routine, nap, toilet routine) for daily reports


• Observe and record relevant information on each child's progress in accordance with The Baby Lounge’s policies.


• Will ensure the children are supervised during potty training and are comfortable at all times


• Will ensure that the children are properly clocked-in, their bags thoroughly checked, items labelled and emptied into their respective cubbies at drop-off


• Will ensure that the children’s bags are neatly packed at the end of the day (before pick-up) and none of their belongings left behind.


• Perform other duties as may be assigned from time to time by the Centre Director/Administrator or her designate

Requirements

• HND / B.Sc in any field of study


• 2 - 4 years of work experience


• Apllicants must be a female


• Training in child development is a plus


• First aid certification is a plus


• Previous experience as a Nanny or Babysitter is a plus


• Excellent understanding of child development in different age stages


• Ability to come up with creative ideas to educate and engage children


• Multitasking skills


• A pleasant and patient personality

Remuneration

N60,000 - N100,000 Monthly.
