Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Sales Strategy & Revenue Generation: Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue goals for rooms, conferences, and events.
- Market Research & Analysis: Monitor competitor rates, analyze industry trends, and adjust marketing strategies to gain market share.
- Client Relationship Management: Identify, contact, and secure new business while maintaining relationships with existing corporate and leisure clients.
- Marketing & Branding: Create promotional campaigns, manage social media presence, and enhance brand awareness across various platforms.
- Reporting & Budgeting: Prepare annual marketing budgets, sales forecasts, and weekly/monthly sales reports.
- Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and coach the sales team to meet or exceed targets.
- Operations Coordination: Collaborate with front office and banquet teams to ensure smooth delivery of services booked.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Marketing, or Business Administration preferred
- Experience: Proven track record in hotel sales, marketing, or business development (often 3+ years).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for client presentations and negotiations.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Hotel Property Management Systems (PMS), CRM software, and social media platforms.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to interpret data and trends to guide marketing decisions.
