About the Role
- They ar seeking an experienced Biomedical Engineer to join its technical service team.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting a wide range of medical devices and hospital equipment, ensuring optimal performance, safety, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair medical devices and equipment including CT, X-Ray, Patient Monitoring Systems, Laboratory Equipment, and CSSD Equipment.
- Conduct system-level troubleshooting to minimize downtime and ensure continuous equipment availability.
- Work collaboratively with the local service team to deliver efficient service support within the assigned region.
- Manage spare parts ordering, usage, and repair cycle times.
- liaise with doctors, clinicians, and operators on equipment status, performance, and technical issues to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Prepare and present technical solutions to prospective and existing clients.
- Operate IT-based diagnostic and service applications for equipment troubleshooting.
- Support sales activities, including product demonstrations, customer visits, and opportunity identification for new contracts or renewals.
- Ensure timely completion of warranty, CMC-related tasks, and Field Change Orders (FCOs).
- Oversee installation quality, ensuring compliance with design specifications, safety policies, and regulatory standards.
- Prepare complete documentation for installation, maintenance, and service activities.
- Drive adherence to health, safety, and quality compliance.
- Maintain accurate and timely administrative reports including service reports, travel requests, and documentation logs.
- Safeguard tools, test equipment, and spare parts, ensuring proper handling and storage.
- Continuously update technical knowledge and complete all assigned product-specific training programs.
Requirements
Educational Qualification:
Bachelor’s Degree or Higher National Diploma in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Electrical/Instrumentation, or related field.
Experience:
Minimum 3 years’ experience in medical equipment installation, servicing, and troubleshooting (X-Ray/CT systems required).
Experience with Philips X-Ray/CT equipment is a strong advantage.
