Job Summary
- The Human Resources Generalist will be responsible for managing all core HR functions while serving as a strategic partner to management in driving organizational performance, structure, and growth.
- The role goes beyond administrative HR and requires a proactive professional who can align people management with business objectives, enforce accountability, strengthen systems, and support leadership in decision-making.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end recruitment processes including job postings, screening, interviews, selection, and onboarding
- Develop and maintain structured HR systems, templates, and documentation
- Create, implement, and continuously improve HR policies, processes, and frameworks to support organizational growth
- Drive performance management by developing KPIs, coordinating appraisals, and monitoring staff productivity across departments
- Provide HR insights to Management to support decision-making on staffing, performance, discipline, and organizational structure
- Identify workforce gaps and recommend practical solutions to improve efficiency and output
- Manage employee relations by handling grievances, conflict resolution, and ensuring a professional work environment
- Oversee disciplinary processes including queries, warnings, suspensions, and terminations in line with company policy
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, attendance, and leave tracking systems manually or via basic tools
- Coordinate staff welfare, engagement, and communication initiatives
- Support training and development by identifying skill gaps and organizing learning interventions
- Monitor staff compliance with company policies and enforce accountability across all levels
- Prepare periodic HR reports (staff performance, attendance, turnover, etc.) and provide actionable insights
- Collaborate with department heads (Sales, Warehouse, Admin) to align people management with operational needs
- Ensure proper role definition, structure, and clarity across the organization
- Drive a culture of discipline, responsibility, and performance within the workforce
- Continuously review existing systems and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and control.
Skills and Educational Qualifications Required
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related Fields
- 2 - 4 years relevant HR/Admin experience
- Strong knowledge of core HR functions and processes
- Ability to build structure and systems from scratch (non-ERP environment)
- Strategic thinking with strong business and operational awareness
- High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential information
- Strong leadership and assertiveness in enforcing policies and discipline
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Problem-solving and conflict resolution ability
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Google Workspace, etc.)
- Results-driven mindset with a focus on performance and accountability.
