Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement HelpMum’s research strategy aligned with organizational goals


• Lead the design and execution of qualitative and quantitative research studies


• Oversee data collection, analysis, and interpretation to generate actionable insights


• Ensure research outputs meet ethical standards and regulatory requirements


• Collaborate with program, product, and partnerships teams to integrate research into decision-making


• Publish findings in reports, policy briefs, and peer-reviewed journals


• Build and manage partnerships with academic institutions, NGOs, and research bodies


• Supervise and mentor research staff and consultants


• Support grant writing and donor reporting with strong evidence and data

Requirements

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Public Health, Epidemiology, Social Sciences, or a related field


• 5–7 years of relevant research experience, preferably in the health sector


• Strong experience in research design, data analysis, and impact evaluation with strong evidence


• Proven track record of publications or research dissemination


• Familiarity with ethical research standards and approval processes


• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
