Job Duties and Responsibilities



  • Responsible for event sales, planning and management.

  • A pleasant and friendly disposition, with a natural desire to serve;

  • Monitor sales and enhance customer experience; handling complaints and feedback;

  • Event marketing, promotion and operation;

  • Ensure that products are priced rightly, displayed appropriately and are in good condition.

  • Possess a welcoming demeanor and ready to assist with customer needs for assistance.

  • Instruct and guide sales, inventory, accounting and other staff towards meeting overall goals

  • Ensure that the supermarket is safe, healthy, secure and clean at all times

  • Plan and prepare work schedules and keep records of employees' work schedules and time cards. Establish and implement policies, goals, objectives, and procedures for their department.

  • Inventory stock and reorder when inventory drops to a specified level.

  • Work with management to hire, develop and motivate staff.

  • Work with management to develop strategies to increase sales, expand markets, and promote the business.

  • Review inventory and sales records to prepare reports for management and budget departments.

  • Plan budgets and authorize payments and merchandise returns.

  • Check all products to determine that they are in good condition.

  • Estimate consumer demand and determine the types and amounts of goods to be sold. Keep records of purchases, sales, and requisitions.

  • Plan and coordinate advertising campaigns and sales promotions and prepare merchandise.

  • Formulate pricing policies for merchandise, according to profitability requirements.

  • Establish credit policies and operating procedure.


Requirements



  • HND / BSc in any relevant discipline

  • Minimum of 4 years in a managerial position

  • Establish credit policies and operating procedure.

  • Good communication skill

  • Proven years of experience managing a store, its activities, and staff.
