Job Summary




  • The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding market share, and managing sales operations within the agro-allied sector.

  • The ideal candidate must possess strong industry knowledge (livestock, feed, hatchery, or related value chains), excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record in sales performance and customer relationship management.



Key Responsibilities




  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve company targets and expand customer base.

  • Identify new business opportunities within livestock farms, hatcheries, feed distributors, and agro-dealers.

  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients and key stakeholders.

  • Lead, supervise, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and collective targets.

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies to inform business decisions.

  • Coordinate with production and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of products.

  • Prepare periodic sales reports, forecasts, and performance analysis.

  • Organize and participate in field visits, product demonstrations, and industry events.

  • Ensure proper documentation of sales activities and customer interactions.

  • Provide technical support and advisory services to customers where necessary.



Requirements / Qualifications




  • Bachelor’s degree in any of the following or related fields:

    • Animal Science

    • Animal Nutrition

    • Veterinary Medicine

    • Agricultural Production or related discipline



  • Minimum of 5–8 years’ experience in sales within an agro-allied industry.

  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

  • Strong understanding of livestock production, feed products, or hatchery operations.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to lead and manage a sales team effectively.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools.

  • Willingness to travel extensively for field operations.
