This is a full-time role for a Sales Officer to be based in Ilorin, Kwara State. The Sales Officer will be responsible for establishing and strengthening Alles Charis’ commercial footprint in Ilorin and the wider Kwara market ahead of the launch of our Ilorin Station. The role is strategically positioned to drive pre-launch market penetration by identifying business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and developing a robust sales pipeline that supports immediate commercial traction upon station commencement. The successful candidate will work remotely while conducting extensive field engagement, market intelligence gathering, and targeted business development activities across the region before station launch.
This position requires a commercially minded professional with strong market knowledge, excellent relationship-building capabilities, and the discipline to work independently while delivering measurable growth outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute market penetration strategies to establish Alles Charis’ commercial presence across Ilorin and wider Kwara ahead of station launch.
Identify, research, and segment prospective clients across key industries, commercial sectors, and strategic market clusters within the region.
Build, maintain, and continuously update a structured prospect pipeline and client database to support sustained business development efforts.
Conduct field engagement, market visits, and competitive intelligence gathering to understand customer demand, pricing trends, and competitor positioning.
Initiate and build strong business relationships with prospective clients, retailers, commercial users, and key decision-makers through direct outreach, meetings, and networking.
Present company products and service offerings effectively, develop tailored commercial proposals, and drive lead qualification through the sales pipeline.
Support business negotiations, early-stage partnership discussions, and client onboarding activities that position the company for rapid post-launch revenue generation.
Secure pre-launch customer commitments and develop strategic account relationships that accelerate market entry and commercial traction.
Maintain accurate records of all prospect interactions, pipeline progress, and follow-up actions within the company CRM system.
Prepare and submit weekly and monthly reports on market intelligence, sales pipeline development, customer engagement activities, and overall commercial readiness ahead of station commissioning.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related discipline
Professional certification in Sales, Marketing, or Business Development is an added advantage
Minimum of 2–4 years’ proven experience in field sales, commercial business development, or account acquisition
Prior experience operating within the Ilorin / Kwara market is strongly preferred
Demonstrated ability to work independently in remote or field-based roles with minimal supervision
Proven track record of generating leads, building pipelines, and converting business opportunities into revenue
