Role Summary




  • Our Client is seeking a highly creative, data-driven, and commercially minded Social Media Manager to lead the brand’s social media presence across all platforms.

  • This role goes beyond content posting, it requires a strong understanding of brand positioning, audience psychology, performance metrics, community building, and revenue-driven content strategy.

  • The Social Media Manager will be responsible for building engagement, growing followers, strengthening brand perception, and contributing measurably to sales performance.

  • The ideal candidate has strong FMCG, beauty, skincare, or lifestyle brand experience and understands how to combine storytelling with strategic growth.



Key Responsibilities

Social Media Strategy & Planning:




  • Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with brand and revenue goals.

  • Create monthly content calendars across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Twitter (X), LinkedIn (where applicable).

  • Plan campaigns around product launches, promotions, events, and key retail moments.

  • Translate marketing objectives into platform-specific content strategies.



Content Creation & Creative Direction:




  • Lead the ideation, scripting, and coordination of content production (Reels, TikTok videos, static posts, carousels, stories).

  • Work with in-house designers, videographers, and content creators to produce highquality, on-brand visuals.

  • Ensure content aligns with our Lifestyle’s tone, aesthetics, and positioning.

  • Oversee copywriting for captions, CTAs, and storytelling.



Community Management & Engagement:




  • Build and nurture an engaged digital community.

  • Respond to comments, DMs, and inquiries professionally and promptly.

  • Monitor brand mentions and conversations online.

  • Identify brand advocates and influencer collaboration opportunities.

  • Manage crisis responses in collaboration with Marketing leadership.



Growth & Performance Optimization:




  • Track and analyze performance metrics including:

  • Engagement rate

  • Reach & impressions

  • Follower growth

  • Video retention

  • Click-through rate

  • Conversion impact

  • Optimize content based on data insights.

  • Identify trends and platform updates to maintain competitive positioning.

  • Run and monitor boosted content or paid social campaigns where required.



Influencer & Partnership Coordination:




  • Identify and manage influencer relationships aligned with the brand’s positioning.

  • Negotiate deliverables, track performance, and measure ROI.

  • Coordinate product seeding campaigns and UGC initiatives.



Brand Reputation & Digital Voice




  • Maintain consistency in brand messaging and tone.

  • Protect brand image across platforms.

  • Collaborate with Customer Service to escalate and resolve social media issues.



Reporting & Accountability




  • Submit weekly and monthly performance reports.

  • Provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.

  • Track content-to-sales attribution where possible.



Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)




  • Monthly follower growth rate.

  • Engagement rate benchmarks.

  • Video views and retention rates.

  • Community response time targets.

  • Content-to-revenue impact metrics (where measurable).

  • Campaign performance vs targets.



Required Qualifications & Experience




  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or related field.

  • 3–5 years experience managing social media for FMCG, beauty, wellness, or lifestyle brands.

  • Demonstrated portfolio of high-performing social media campaigns.

  • Strong understanding of Instagram and TikTok growth mechanics.

  • Proven experience building engaged online communities.

  • Deep understanding of social media algorithms and trends.

  • Video editing skills.

  • Analytical mindset with ability to interpret performance data.

Technical Skills:




  • Proficiency in Meta Business Suite and TikTok analytics.

  • Experience with Canva, CapCut, or similar editing tools.

  • Basic understanding of paid social advertising.

  • Familiarity with CRM integration is an advantage.
