We are looking for a creative Video Editor (Intern) to help the team create highly engaging and converting videos for Youtube and social media channels

Duration

The duration of the internship is 6 months. Which can then be converted into a full-time role depending on performance. 

Responsibilities

• Create rough and final cuts for marketing and social media videos


• Source for stock videos/photos to create short videos. 


• Input music, dialogues, graphics, and effects


• Trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the film


• Be an ambassador for ensuring the company’s brand guidelines are followed in every content.

Requirements and skills

• The applicant in the role should either be a resident of Yaba, Lagos & it environs or has unfettered access to the internet.


• The applicant should have a laptop to work on. 


• This role is perfect for Undergraduate, Awaiting NYSC, and NYSC members. 


• Proven work skills to create videos for the internet. 


• 0-1 year of experience in video editing.


• Solid skill with digital technology and editing software packages (e.g.Adobe, Premiere, After Effects, Final Cut, etc)


• Demonstrable video editing ability with (evidence to back). 


• Familiarity with special effects, 3D, and compositing

Day-to-Day

• Thorough editing and cutting skills for (recorded video, screen recording, etc) 


• Creation of videos in different formats for engagement on different social media platforms
