Job Description



  • The person occupying this role shall support the Top Management in promoting the company’s existing brands and introducing company’s products and services to new and existing clients.

  • Marketing Microfinance Banks, FinTech and other corporate organizations.

  • Expansion of our B2B AND B2C customer base.

  • Marketing our USSD codes and Bluetooth printers.

  • Analysing budgets, preparing annual budget plans, scheduling expenditures, and ensuring that the sales team meets their quotas and goals.

  • Managing organizational sales by developing a business plan that covers sales, revenue, and expense controls of ICT products.

  • Meeting planned ICT sales and revenue goals.

  • Setting individual sales and revenue targets with the sales team.

  • Tracking sales and profit goals and reporting results as necessary.

  • Overseeing the activities and performance of the sales team.

  • Coordinating with marketing on lead generation.

  • Developing the sales team through motivation, counselling, and product knowledge education.

  • Promoting the organization and products.

  • Understand our ideal customers and how they relate to our products.

  • Researching and developing marketing opportunities and plans, understanding consumer requirements, identifying market trends, and suggesting system improvements to achieve the company's marketing goals.

  • Gathering, investigating, and summarizing market data and trends to draft reports.

  • Implementing new sales plans and advertising.

  • Recruiting, training, scheduling, coaching, and managing marketing and sales teams to meet sales and marketing human resource objectives.

  • Maintaining relationships with important clients by making regular visits, understanding their needs, and anticipating new marketing opportunities.

  • Staying current in the industry by attending educational opportunities, conferences, and workshops, reading publications, and maintaining personal and professional networks.

  • Analysing market trends and preparing forecasts.

  • Generating new business leads.

  • Increasing brand awareness and market share.

  • Coordinating marketing strategies with the sales, financial, public relations, and production departments.

  • Developing and managing the marketing department's budget.

  • Overseeing branding, advertising, and promotional campaigns.

  • Managing the sales and marketing department's staff.

  • Preparing and presenting quarterly and annual reports to management.

  • Promoting our brand at trade shows and major industry-related events.

  • Keeping informed of marketing strategies and trends.


Requirements



  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field.

  • 5 - 9 years work experience.

  • Experience in planning and implementing sales strategies.

  • Experience in customer relationship management.

  • Experience managing and directing a sales team.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Dedication to providing great customer service.

  • Ability to lead a sales team.

  • Experience in management may be advantageous.

  • Understanding and knowledge of sales and marketing.

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and creative thinking skills.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.

  • Knowledge of data analysis and report writing.
