Job Description



We are looking for a Cashier to manage all transactions with customers accurately and efficiently. Cashier responsibilities include receiving payments, issuing receipts, and keeping track of all cash and credit transactions.

Ultimately, you’ll ensure all transactions run smoothly and will help us maximize customer satisfaction.




General Duties



  • Process transactions by effectively and efficiently handling cash and credit card payments.

  • Record all payments into designated databases.

  • Promptly confirming payments and issuing receipts to client

  • Monitoring cash flow and managing office expenditure

  • Manage daily balancing and reconciling of office accounts

  • Enforce credit policies to ensure that defaulters and patients with extended credits pay on time.

  • Reconcile cash drawers and sales receipts

  • Coordinate efforts with the accounting department to ensure that payments to suppliers are processed on time.

  • Coordinate activities with the accounting department to ensure the creation of daily, weekly and monthly reports.

  • Assist at the front desk in handling patient transactions

  • Other related duties as and when the need arises


Requirements and skills



  • BSc in Finance / Accounting related course

  • A Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a cashier or in a similar role

  • Familiarity with electronic equipment like POS

  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Suite

  • Strong communication and time management skills

  • Customer satisfaction-oriented
