Job Description



What You’ll Do



  • Make outbound calls to customers with defaulting loans

  • Negotiate payment arrangements with delinquent customers

  • Provide back-office support to field recovery agents

  • Communicate identified risks to the Operations and Growth team to help improve the loan underwriting process

  • Introduce debt recovery initiatives to test new ideas aimed at lowering defaults

  • Analyse data to identify patterns in repayment behaviour

  • Review poorly-performing clusters for rehabilitation

  • Investigate and escalate fraud cases within clusters


Requirements:



  • A Bachelor's Degree from a related field with at least a Second Class Upper

  • 2+ years experience in microfinance operations directly dealing with delinquent clients and other problem-solving situations.

  • Experience working in a fast-paced, remote environment
