Job Summary




  • We are seeking a reliable and customer-friendly Supermarket Sales Attendant to assist customers, arrange products on shelves, maintain cleanliness within the store, and support daily supermarket operations.

  • The ideal candidate should possess good communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.



Key Responsibilities




  • Attend to customers politely and assist them with inquiries and purchases.

  • Arrange, label and restock products on shelves.

  • Monitor product expiry dates and report damaged or expired goods.

  • Maintain cleanliness and proper organization of the supermarket.

  • Assist customers in locating products within the store.

  • Handle pricing and product display arrangements.

  • Support stock-taking and inventory activities.

  • Operate POS machine/cash register where necessary.

  • Ensure excellent customer service at all times.

  • Report shortages, customer complaints or suspicious activities to management.



Requirements




  • Minimum of SSCE / OND qualification.

  • Previous supermarket or retail experience is an added advantage.

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work under minimal supervision.

  • Physically fit and able to stand for long periods.

  • Honest, punctual and responsible.
