Our client is a global trading and distribution company with a network of offices and subsidiaries spanning more than 39 countries in Africa, Asia, Europe and the Americas. They have a network of showrooms and workshops across 12 countries, and an assembly plant. They enhanced their distribution portfolio with farm machinery in addition to automobiles the company produces passenger cars, trucks, vans, coaches, buses, sports cars, construction equipment and military vehicles. They are currently in need of a Senior Finance Officer.


JOB PURPOSE.


The Candidate should be conversant with preparing and reviewing entity financials and overseeing transactional processing activities. This position is responsible for ensuring proper book closure, review and analysis of MIS, accounts finalization, consolidation, MIS, General ledger review, balance sheet proofing, PL (variance) analysis, yearend book closure financial pack, audit support, supervise transactional processing activities, stake holder management and other adhoc support activities as required by the business.


Job responsibilities;



  • MIS, Book close, Balance sheet proofing, account reconciliations and other R2R (Record to report) requirements.

  • Supervisory role for AR & AP & R2R activities.

  • Team/Stake holder management

  • Ensuring strict adherence to SOM and SoA

  • Preparation & review of month end and period end (Quarter/Year) book close, F P & A activities, responsible for supervision of transactional activities, reviewing account and balance sheet reconciliations, general ledger review, balance sheet proofing, MIS preparation & variance analysis.

  • Tax management and bank reconciliation as well as experience of handling audits.


Job Requirement.



  • Chartered Accountant with exposure to IGAAP & IFRS in his/her current role.

  •  The ideal candidate should have a bachelor’s degree and preferably should be a Chartered accountant with at least 6 years minimum work experience.

  • Prior experience of working with Incadea, Navision or any other ERP is preferable/desired. Good knowledge on tax management and bank reconciliation as well as experience of handling audits will be a huge plus.

  • ERP Knowledge, MS office.

  • Should be smart and good communication skill both spoken and written
