We are looking for an experienced Accountant to oversee general accounting operations by controlling and verifying our financial transactions.

Job Description

• Capture all accounting transactions


• Reconcile accounts payable and receivable


• Comply with financial policies and regulations


• Perform daily accounting tasks and responsibilities.


• Managing expense reports and reimbursements,


• Ensuring transparency and efficiency in all transactions


• Verify and approve payment transactions, petty cash transactions, and sales invoices.


• Support annual budget preparation and presentation.


• Present the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and supporting working papers.


• Produce bank reconciliation statement.


• Review and approve statutory and other payroll returns for submission.


• Comply with state and federal tax filing requirements.

Requirements

• BSc/HND from a reputable institution


• Minimum of 2-3 years post-NYSC relevant experience for the role


• Proven experience in accounting processing


• Appetite for learning new skills in a challenging and supportive environment.


• Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication, and presentation skills.


• Motivation to achieve high standards of professionalism.


• Strong skills in accounting packages and Microsoft Office especially Excel.
