Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Managing new and existing clients and business relationships profitably
- Obtaining feedback and reports from clients
- Develop sales presentations for varying sales meetings
- Identifying new business opportunities and submitting proposals/quotes to prospective clients.
- Promoting the company’s services
- Following up and updating clients on the progress of all ongoing service engagements with the company.
- Meeting assigned sales targets (monthly, quarterly, and annually)
- Maintaining an updated database of clients
- Responding to requests from clients
- Effective prospecting and market intelligence gathering to aid successful sales presentations
- Assisting in managing all existing clients through regular communication with key contacts
- Identifying key market segments and developing marketing plans
- Developing sales and operational knowledge of all our services.
- Identifying immediate and long-term needs of clients
- Liaising between the company and clients
- Engaging in follow-up activities
Requirements:
- Minimum of first degree in relevant field.
- Minimum of five (5) years experience in sales or business development roles within the logistics industry
- Experience in freight forwarding and/or logistics industry is essential
- Excellent oral and written communications
- Excellent interpersonal & organizational skills
- Target-driven and with a high drive to meet sales target
- Creative and well-organized, with good prioritizing skills.
