Job Description



  • The Business development Consultant will play a crucial role in the success of Talentsquare as an organizational consulting firm.

  • You will generate new sales leads, negotiate client pricing, and forecast sales revenue.

  • Your core objective in this role is to help Talentsquare maximize on growth and profits

  • Among other responsibilities you should be able to evaluate current sales performance and identify ways an organization can expand and grow. Consequently, our ideal candidate is someone who is self-motivated, goal-oriented, and commission-driven.


Responsibilities



  • Setting goals and developing plans for business and revenue growth

  • Writing and putting together personalized proposals for potential and our present clients

  • Researching, planning, and implementing new target market initiatives

  • Arrange business meetings with prospective clients

  • Promote the company’s products/services addressing or predicting clients’ objectives

  • Researching prospective accounts in target markets

  • Pursuing leads and moving them through the sales cycle

  • Managing accounts of prospective and present clients

  • Setting goals for the business development team and developing strategies to meet those goals

  • Attending conferences and industry events


Other Requirements



  • BSc / BA in Business Administration, Sales or relevant field

  • Proven working experience as a business development manager or Business related role that is/was sales or business development related

  • Proven sales track record

  • Experience or understanding of the Human Resource operations or worked in a HR consulting firm in an engagement personnel or project is a plus

  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software (e.g. Salesforce, cloze, hubspot)

  • Proficiency in English

  • Can put together concise and straight to the point emails or documents that present our solutions to businesses

  • Market knowledge

  • Communication and negotiation skills

  • Ability to build rapport

  • Time management and planning skills


Requirements:

Core Fundamental Required Skills:



  • Communication skills: You should be able to communicate with clients of all backgrounds and educational levels. Well-developed written and verbal communication skills are needed for this role. 

  • Organizational skills: You should be comfortable juggling numerous clients, on- and off-site meetings, and deadlines; keeping client proposals and other tasks on track.

  • Time-management skills: Our ideal candidate understands how to prioritize their time and should be comfortable managing a calendar and adjusting their schedule as needed.

  • Technical and computer skills: Most organizations use a sales content management system (CMS) or CRM to track leads and client calls and document where each prospect is in the sales cycle. 

  • Drive and self-motivation: Our ideal candidate must be goal-oriented and commission-driven. A professional who possesses the drive and motivation and will push themselves to succeed.


Salary

NGN 200,000 monthly.
