Qualifications for IT Business Analyst
- 3+ of computer applications experience
- Ability to document business requirement documents
- Ability to document functional and non functional IT business requirements
- MBA in Information Systems, preferred
- Expert level in Microsoft Office Applications, including Project
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Proficient in data analysis
- Experience in programming
- Pass and maintain a background check (secret or top secret)
- Understanding business functional areas
- Willingness to travel to client sites
- Perform activity base business review and define each of the steps and activities for each of the department, function and roles.
- Define and document tools, process, and resources for each of the activities
- Document Standard of Operations for each of the business activities
- Identify and resolve project issues
- Analyze complex business problems and determine an IT solution
- Gather data and analyze business and user needs
- Ensure IT Governance and SOP
- Document functional and non-functional requirements and user stories.
- Work with engineers in implementing and engineering the solutions
- Oversee the entire solution to ensure engineering is inline with the requirements in times of specification and timeline
- Provide recommendations on hardware and software procurement to support client's business goals
- Coordinate the development of documentation to enable implementation and turnover of the process of system
- Define objectives and scope of business system
- Work closely with managers and end users to determine best IT solution
- Conduct post-project evaluation
