The Logistics Officer will be responsible for coordinating the movement, storage,documentation, and delivery of solar products, equipment, and project materials.
The role supports smooth supply chain operations by ensuring that solar panels, inverters, mounting structures, cables, tools, and other materials are received, stored, tracked, and delivered to project sites or customers on time and in good condition.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate the receipt, storage, movement, and dispatch of solar equipment andproject materials.
Plan and monitor deliveries to customer locations, and warehouses.
Work with transporters, warehouse staff, and sales teams to ensure timely logistics operations.
Maintain accurate records of inventory, stock movement, delivery notes, waybills, and other logistics documents.
Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile in transit inventory with system or manual records.
Ensure proper handling, packaging, loading, unloading, and storage of fragile and high-value solar equipment.
Monitor vehicle usage, delivery schedules, fuel consumption, and driver performance where company vehicles are involved.
Identify and resolve logistics delays, stock shortages, damaged items, and delivery discrepancies.
Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, warehouse procedures, and relevant transport regulations.
Prepare periodic logistics, inventory, and delivery reports for management.
