Job Summary




  • We are seeking a results-driven Sales Manager to lead conference and banqueting (C&B) sales for the property. The successful candidate will drive revenue by proactively selling meeting, event, and banqueting spaces, building strong client relationships, and managing the full sales cycle from enquiry to contract sign-off.



Key Responsibilities




  • Proactively generate and convert new business leads for conferences, meetings, weddings, and banqueting events

  • Respond to enquiries promptly, prepare tailored proposals, and negotiate rates and terms

  • Draft, issue, and manage sales contracts, ensuring accuracy of terms, pricing, cancellation policies, and payment schedules

  • Liaise with legal/finance teams on contract terms where required and ensure compliance with company policies

  • Conduct site inspections and client meetings to showcase facilities

  • Build and maintain relationships with corporate clients, event planners, and agencies

  • Achieve and exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets and revenue budgets

  • Coordinate handover of confirmed bookings to the events/operations team

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and pricing to identify new opportunities

  • Maintain accurate records in the CRM/sales system, including pipeline, contracts, and forecasts



Requirements




  • Proven experience in hotel, venue, or hospitality sales, ideally within conference and banqueting

  • Strong understanding of sales contracts, negotiation, and terms & conditions

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills

  • Target-driven with a track record of meeting/exceeding sales goals
