Health Care Assistant/Support Worker

Job Description

• Serving meals and helping to feed patients.


• Helping people to move around(Mobility).


• Assisting with Oral Medication.


• Toileting.


• Changing of Position


• Making beds.


• Talking to patients and making them comfortable.


• Hands on Assitance


• Monitoring patients’ conditions by taking temperatures, pulse, respirations and weight, etc.

Requirements

There are no set entry requirements to become a healthcare assistant. Once you have your SSCE and you can read, write and speak, you are qualified to apply.
