Job Responsibilities

• Operate diesel generator.


• Perform preventive maintenance on diesel generators checking for worn parts and leaks.


• Troubleshooting and repair of diesel generators whenever fault occurs.


• Responsible for top or complete overhauling of Diesel Generator.


• Troubleshoot diesel engines, 3-phase generators, and transfer switches as they apply to various equipment and systems when voltage, amperage, cycles, and phases show defects.

Requirements

• Seasoned technician with a minimum of TTC / NABTEB / Diploma / OND qualifications.


• Minimum of 2 years cognate experience as a Generator Maintenance Officer.

Other Requirements:

• Strong problem-solving skills.


• Excellent team player.


• Ability to work independently and in a team.


• Good communication skills (oral and written).


• Detailed and goal-oriented.


• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.


• Proximity to Aba is a plus or a desire to relocate.

Competencies:

• Hands-on working experience on the mechanical parts of a diesel generator


• Well-experienced in servicing and troubleshooting of all mechanical system problems in Diesel Engine Generator Sets


• Well familiar with different kinds of Diesel Engine Generator
