We are seeking a highly skilled and patient-centred Consultant Family Physician to join our clinical team.
The successful candidate will provide comprehensive, continuous care to individuals and families across all age groups, while supporting high standards of clinical governance and service delivery.
Key responsibilities
Deliver high-quality primary and preventive care, including diagnosis, treatment, health promotion, and chronic disease management.
Conduct consultations for acute and long-term conditions and coordinate appropriate referrals.
Lead multidisciplinary care planning and collaborate with nursing, specialist, and allied health teams.
Maintain accurate, timely clinical records in line with professional and organisational requirements.
Support clinical audits, quality-improvement initiatives, teaching, and mentoring where required.
Uphold patient safety, confidentiality, ethical practice, and relevant regulatory standards.
Essential requirements
Medical Degree (MBBS/MBChB or equivalent) and full registration with the relevant medical regulatory body.
Recognised postgraduate qualification in Family Medicine/General Practice.
Consultant-level experience in family medicine or primary care.
Strong clinical judgement, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated commitment to evidence-based, patient-centred care.
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
