Job Summary
- Sales Relationship Manager’s responsibility is to develop and implement marketing strategies to promote our products and services, enhance brand awareness, and drive business growth.
- This role requires creativity, analytical skills, and a deep understanding of market trends to ensure successful marketing campaigns.
Job Roles and Responsibilities
Strategic & Business Development:
- Develop and implement annual Sales and Marketing Strategy for Management and Board approval.
- Drive achievement of risk asset and deposit mobilization targets.
- Identify new market opportunities and customer segments for business expansion.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, pricing, and product innovations.
Portfolio & Risk Management:
- Ensure Portfolio at Risk (PAR) is maintained within Board-approved threshold.
- Drive adherence to credit policies, KYC, and AML requirements.
- Monitor loan performance and support recovery efforts where required.
- Ensure proper customer onboarding and documentation processes.
Revenue & Performance Management:
- Prepare and manage monthly, quarterly, and annual sales budgets
- Set, monitor, and report team performance goals and KPIs.
- Provide weekly and monthly performance reports to Executive Management.
- Drive cross-selling and upselling of Bank products and services.
Team Leadership & Supervision:
- Supervise, coach, and mentor Sales Supervisors and Officers.
- Conduct periodic performance reviews.
- Foster a high-performance and compliance-driven sales culture.
Compliance & Governance:
- Ensure full compliance with CBN guidelines and internal policies.
- Act as Management representative in sales-related matters.
- Escalate risk exposures and performance concerns promptly.
Educational and Professional Requirement
- A good First Degree from a reputable university (Preferably in Marketing, Banking & Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field).
- 2 years or more experience in sales (Preferably in a commercial bank, MFB or insurance banks)
- Strong leadership, analytical, and negotiation skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
