Job Description
- Our client seeking a dynamic, strategic, and results-driven General Manager to direct overall institutional operations, oversee digital learning platform deployment and content development, lead corporate in-plant training expansion, and spearhead revenue growth.
- Reporting directly to the Executive Board and President, the General Manager will translate board-level vision into actionable operational roadmaps, manage instructional design and faculty teams, and drive institutional scaling.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Board Alignment
- Work in close alignment with the Executive Board and President to define, execute, and refine overall corporate growth and educational delivery strategies.
- Translate capacity-building objectives into clear operational deliverables, digital platform development timelines, and team performance metrics.
- Serve as the primary operational bridge between senior board leadership, instructional designers, corporate facilitators, and enterprise clients.
- Prepare comprehensive executive performance reports, digital platform usage metrics, and quarterly P&L evaluations for board review.
Operational Excellence & EdTech Platform Governance:
- Direct day-to-day operations across online learning portals, in-plant corporate training engagements, and digital knowledge repository development.
- Establish, standardize, and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), course quality benchmarks, and instructional delivery frameworks across all formats.
- Lead corporate manpower planning, faculty/trainer network management, production team structuring, and executive team coaching initiatives.
- Ensure full legal compliance, intellectual property governance, course licensing adherence, and digital platform security standard compliance.
Financial Growth & Program Monetization Management:
- Drive revenue expansion, operational cost optimization, and profitability across online courses, in-plant sessions, and digital platform subscriptions in line with board mandates.
- Manage operational budgets, course production costs, platform technology investments, quarterly forecasting, and administrative efficiency.
- Implement data-driven KPI tracking frameworks to minimize overhead while maximizing return on investment (ROI) for all educational programs.
Client Partnership Management & Market Expansion:
- Identify and capitalize on emerging corporate capacity building, executive coaching, and workforce training opportunities across key business sectors.
- Build and nurture strategic partnerships with corporate HR leaders, L&D executives, government institutions, and industry ecosystem partners.
- Represent School of Performance at executive learning conferences, corporate HR summits, and strategic client acquisition negotiations.
Requirements
- Educational Background: Bachelor's Degree in Educational Management, Business Administration, Human Resource Development, Organizational Psychology, or related field. Master of Business Administration (MBA) or post-graduate qualification is strongly preferred.
- Professional Experience: Minimum 8+ years of progressive corporate experience, with at least 3–5 years in a senior executive leadership, General Manager, or corporate training/EdTech leadership role.
- Financial & Program Monetization Acumen: Proven expertise in P&L management, course production budgeting, corporate training pricing models, SaaS/subscription models, and yield tracking.
- Strategic Execution: Track record of managing multi-channel educational delivery platforms, executing high-volume corporate in-plant contracts, and scaling digital learning platforms.
- Executive Presence & Communication: Exceptional presentation, stakeholder management, facilitation oversight, and board-level reporting skills.
- Entrepreneurial Ambition: Strong motivation to advance into Chief Executive Officer (CEO) leadership and build long-term value as an equity stakeholder.
