Job Brief
We are looking to hire a female cashier who is very detail and process oriented, able to consistently follow the approved standard of service, maintains customer service focus, exhibits a sense of ownership and a sense of urgency to delight guests. You are our ideal candidate if you are great with numbers and know how to enthusiastically greet guests with a warm, genuine welcome.
Your Responsibilities
- Understands and follows policies and procedures regarding payments
- Demonstrates strong comprehension of menu including recipes and portioning
- Processes guest orders in person or by telephone
- Handles cash and card transactions with accuracy while upholding proper and accurate documentation
- Follows all cash handling procedures, including fraud protection, and properly assigns and checks out drawers as required
- Prepares and submits daily sales reports
- Prepares and submits daily inventory reports as assigned by the manager
- Presents food to guests, assesses restaurant floor for service opportunities, pre-busses/ busses tables, and greets guests who walk into the restaurant
- Maintains clean floors, washes dishes, cleans, and restocks items at the bar
- Processes guest orders, answers questions about the menu, and keeps the front counter area clean and organized
- Communicates regularly and consistently with guests and employees working in other stations (BOH and FOH) to optimize service levels
- Carry out standard FOH opening and closing tasks as required
- Other tasks and duties assigned

What we are looking out for
- Diploma
- Strong customer service personality and skills
- Strong numerical skills
- Prior experience as a cashier in an upscale/premium restaurant
- Must live within the Island
- Female candidate is preferred
