The Head of partnerships is tasked with identifying potential partners who could benefit from working with their organization. This might include finding companies that have similar interests or goals as theirs, or individuals who want to support their cause.
Responsibilities
Strategic and Operational Planning and Execution:
- Develop and implement the strategy for partnership growth and success, including a strategy for processes such as pipeline management, customer on-boarding, and customer management and reporting
- Design and implement a data collection and management strategy that aggregates priorities and needs of partners in a way that facilitates connections and success with technologies and government customers
- Interact with cross-functional teams to facilitate success across our both AMFB and our entire community
- Identify and develop new product offerings that AMFB can offer to potential partners
- Monitor costs, invoices, and cash flow, related to business line execution
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement
- Manage the partnerships team
Business Development and Pipeline:
- Design and implement a strategy to identify new partners to bring into the AMFB community
- Work with the marketing team to develop and execute an outreach and communication strategy to future and existing partners
- Drive revenue growth and track opportunities
- Expand our accounts through cross-sell and up-sell
Customer Success Management:
- Drive partner success and outcomes
- Understand and map customer journey and develop strategies around listening points in journey
- Oversee existing relationships with senior leaders at key partner organizations and ensuring service levels and expectations are met
- Work with partners to identify strategic opportunities for future collaboration and growth
- Measure effectiveness of customer success through metrics and data in order to Influence future lifetime value through higher customer satisfaction and overall health scores
- Help maintain and ensure partner renewal rates
Requirements
What we’re looking for:
- Bachelor’s Degree and an MBA or other advanced degrees in a relevant field like Business, Economics, Public Administration, Engineering, Sciences, or Planning;
- 8+ years’ experience spanning operational, strategic planning and analysis, channel management and product development;
- Deep familiarity with how to structure commercial and social partnerships with leading private sector players, development banks and financial institutions and major implementing partners;
- Extensive experience in Relationship Management;
- Excellent oral, facilitation, and written communication skills;
- Experience managing multinational initiatives in the private and/or public sector;
- Proven ability to lead effective and high impact teams and partnerships;
- Proven leadership ability to influence, develop, and empower all stakeholders to achieve their best with a team approach;
- Results and detail orientated with a very hands-on approach;
- Intelligent, motivated self-starter with strong interpersonal skills and work ethic.
