Job Description

Why we’re hiring:

• Kwik is continuously developing new features and services. We are looking for a talented Senior Frontend Dev to take an active part in our Platform Development Roadmap.

Who you are

• As a Senior Angular Developer with at least 5 years of front-end development experience, you will be a key member of our development team of the Kwik delivery Platform delivering high quality implementations based on modern front-end patterns.


• We will be both in charge of implementing new features as well as working on ongoing refactoring.

What you'll do

• Be responsible for the optimization and ongoing refactoring of Kwik’s Platform Angular Frontend.


• Be responsible for developing and testing critical components of Kwik’s Platform


• Collaborate with backend developers and other team members (on global level -Bulgaria, Nigeria, India-) to implement scalable and flexible UI architecture


• Actively taking part in complex problem solving, debugging and performance improvement sessions.


• Developing UI components, following existing product requirements.


• Influence the team success during the project life cycle -give proactive, constructive feedback


• Manage personal work tasks for optimized software delivery


• Communicate with foreign team members customers and contractors.

Requirements

You will also be able to demonstrate the following:

• Master's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or equivalent experience


• You must have at least 5+ years' experience as Frontend Developer either in an eCommerce or Logistics environment working on customer facing web applications.


• Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English) and the ability to interact with a diverse group of stakeholders, developers, and subject matter experts.


• Proven experience with business and technical requirements analysis, elicitation, modeling, verification, and methodology development


• Proven track record of working in a distributed and multicultural environment


• Experience working within an Agile / Scrum team.


• Experience using Jira, Bitbucket and Jenkins.


• Experience with another programming language such as Java or Python.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Ability to meet tight deadlines and give accurate time estimates.

• Expert understanding of HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript (ES6) and Angular


• Expert in responsive design


• Expert understanding of REST APIs, HTTP and JSON
