Job Description

Why we’re hiring:

• Kwik is continuously developing new features and services. We are looking for a “Senior QA Officer” to take an active part in our Platform Development Roadmap.

Job Responsibilities

What you'll do:

• Learn the company business and be able to quickly contribute to the team


• Analyze requirements, define test plans, test scenarios, and build out test cases that must be executed as part of the API/service layer and end-to-end testing


• Prepare test environments, execute manual functional testing, report and process defects in a cloud-based environment integrating with various third tier solutions (Payment Gateways, CRM ...)


• Conduct formal test reviews with QA, Development, and Product Management and incorporate feedback


• Analyzing customers’ issues and investigate their root causes and participate in technical discussions with product team and Technical Team


• Gather required information/documents from various sources and create test scenarios


• Troubleshoot results via log files, SQL queries, Postman etc. …


• Suggest improvement areas


• Attend and participate in whatever Agile ceremonies or other meetings that may be needed: Standup; Grooming; Retro; Refinement…


• Analyzing customers’ issues and investigate their root causes and participate in technical discussions with product team and Technical Team


• Gather required information/documents from various sources and create test scenarios


• Suggest improvement areas

Job Requirements

You will also be able to demonstrate the following:

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or equivalent experience


• You must have at least 3+ years' of relevant experience as QA Officer either in an eCommerce or Logistics environment working on customer facing web and mobile applications.


• Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English) and the ability to interact with a diverse group of stakeholders, digital product owners, developers, and subject matter experts.


• Proven experience with business requirements analysis, elicitation, and methodology development


• Proven track record of working in a distributed and multicultural environment


• Experience working within an Agile / Scrum team.


• Experience using Jira


• Good command on Microsoft Office Suite

Skills:

• At least 3-5 years of experience in a startup or Software company, experience in Logistic sector is a plus


• Expert understanding of Quality Assurance theory: principles, methodologies, and techniques


• Expert understanding of software development lifecycle, good understanding of Agile methodology


• Excellent understanding of HTTP requests


• Excellent troubleshooting capabilities fueled by an analytical mindset, ability to solve complex logical puzzles


• Detail oriented, efficient and organized person


• Team player with strong interpersonal relations and a sense of responsibility and accountability, self-motivated with a great passion for learning new areas


• Strong written and spoken English.
