The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading the financial resources of a company. Effective budget planning and support the executive management team by offering insights and financial advice that will allow them to make the best business decisions for the company.
Key Deliverables
- Collecting, interpreting, reviewing financial information, and predicting future financial trends with the team.
- Develop financial models through benchmarking and process analysis
- Reporting to management and stakeholders and providing advice on how the company and future business decisions might be impacted.
- Develop and implement plans for budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
- Developing long-term business plans based on these reports.
- Developing strategies that work to minimize financial risk.
- Analyzing market trends and competitors.
- Create and implement financial policies to guarantee operational efficiency.
- Liquidity / Cash Flow management.
- Ensure financial records are kept up to date with the latest transactions and changes.
- Contribute to financial audits.
- Plan, organize, and execute financial tasks and projects of the organization.
- Make estimates of funds required for the short and long-term financial objectives of the organization.
- Complete financial reports, lead the month-end closing process and conduct monthly financial forecasts.
- Achieve a proper mix of equity and debt to minimize cost and maximize operational profit.
- Strategize on fund procurement through banks and other financial institutions.
- Provide financial insight and analysis to drive the business performance of the organization.
- Manage and monitor metrics, KPI tracking, and reports.
- Evaluate the financial performance of the organization and measure returns on investments.
- Understand and calculate the risks involved in the financial activities of the Organization.
Qualifications
- Possess bachelors and master’s degrees preferably in finance or managerial discipline.
- Relevant training & certifications. - ACCA / ICAN is a must.
- Must have a minimum of 3-5 core years of work experience in a FINTECH or Financial Services in a similar role.
- High level of IT skills especially in accounting, advanced Excel, and PowerPoint.
