Job Description
Position Purpose
- We are looking for a Marketing Director, Nigeria. The incumbent will be responsible for Portfolio Management, Budgeting, Strategy Development, Key stakeholder management, Leading & coordinating brand, Coaching & Development.
- The incumbent reports directly to the General Manager, Nigeria.
Main Areas of Responsibilities
- Lead portfolio strategy to ensure all portfolio gaps are addressed, brand pricing strategies are built to ensure JTI competitiveness.
- Drive long term equity of our brands- packaging, activation, POSM etc
- Participate in the preparation and delivery of Business review, A&SP presentations, as well deliver as per agreed plan through developing M&S strategies and programs.
- Develop the strategic direction for thorough in-depth analysis of current markets, drawing up a priority list and developing market entry plans with the local & regional teams based on consumer & trade insights.
- Establish and maintain strong business relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Channel planning, trade segmentation, cycle planning, development of trade loyalty programs; understand and drive to satisfy the changing needs of consumers to ensure JTI portfolio sustainability.
- Recruit, motivate, coach & develop the professional team reporting directly and indirectly to the incumbent.
Qualifications, Experience & Skills
- University Degree in Business Administration or its equivalent
- 10-15 years' experience in Marketing & Sales
- Fluency in written and spoken English
- Knowledge in MS Office and marketing standards in tobacco industry is a plus
