Duties and Responsibilities

• Familiarise him/herself with the ICAN training system and plan to qualify as a chartered accountant.


• Learn about accounting, auditing and taxation to the professional level.


• Should learn how to carry out approved audit programmes


• Regularly document the fieldwork carried out by him/her in accordance with quality standards


• Will draft letters and reports for his/her Supervisor/team lead.


• Will prepare bank reconciliation statements.


• Will work as a team member for auditing, stock taking and other assignments.

Education and Qualifications

• Specifically OND Accounting (Experience in External Audit is a plus)

Skills and Specifications:

• Must be very good with numbers and pay attention to details


• Must have in-depth knowledge of book-keeping.


• Must be able to read between the lines and not take the data for granted


• Must be organised and hard-working, as the auditing process is a long process.


• Must be excellent in communication (Oral & Written).


• Must be very good in the use of computer.


• Must be diligent, positive and of good character.
