Job Summary


The incumbent will make sure that from the moment we choose our suppliers, to the development of the product and all the way until after consumers take our medicines - we ensure that every step is undertaken with quality and safety at the forefront.


Aims



  • Develop a comprehensive marketing strategy for organisation portfolio for increased visibility and marketshare

  • Coordinate with Sales, Finance, Public Relations (MS/Procurement), Production teams in the deployment of the marketing strategy

  • Build a marketing team for optimal performance and efficiency

  • Generate new business lead.


Job Duties & Responsilbilites



  • Oversee the development and implementation of advertising and promotional programs for assigned products in line with established budget

  • Manage and coordinate marketing staff respectively

  • Lead market research efforts to uncover the viability of current and existing products/services

  • Collaborate with media organizations and advertising agencies to identify opportunities for

  • organisation and organisation’s products

  • Coordinate with the sales team and other departments to produce effective strategies and implement strategies

  • Monitor current campaigns, ensuring the team meets deadlines and complete necessary tasks

  • Analyse data to evaluate the success of marketing efforts and come up with new ideas to improve brand marketing and exposure

  • Oversee all marketing campaigns for the company or department

  • Promote organisation business, product, and services using an effective omni-channel strategy

  • Periodically work with the FF to ensure that the team is communicating the right messaging to attract prospective customers and retain existing ones

  • Represent the marketing team to cross-functional groups including technical, finance, sales, or customer support

  • Updating senior leadership on the progress of marketing activities and reporting on the results of campaigns

  • Carry out periodic visit to customers to solicit feedback on the company and the company’s products

  • Regular monitor of development in government circles and follow up on policy formulators to ensure a favourable business environment for the company and company’s products

  • Evaluating and assessing the strengths and weaknesses of competitive products and developing comparative statistics and metrics for business decisions

  • Identifying new market segments and developing strategies to participate in identified segment

  • Display analytical skills to make better marketing decisions based on in-market and statistical data

  • Carry out duties of operations according to the requirements of applicable cGMP guidelines (NAFDAC, WHO & PCN), Quality Management System guideline (ISO 9001) and reporting all Quality matters in the course of work


Requirements



  • University graduate B.Pharm

  • Good knowledge of Pharmaceutical products (10 yrs+)

  • Excellent Communication skills and perfect command of English language

  • In depth knowledge of Nigeria pharma industry

  • Microsoft proficient with experience in working with Power Point presentations

  • Familiar with Sanisphere software with sound analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Good knowledge of omni-channel strategy.
