We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Summary
We are looking for an Utility staff who will be responsible for the maintenance and operation of company equipment and vehicles. Performs routine maintenance for our power, or water systems and perform other basic repairs.
Responsibilities
- General maintenance and handyman duties.
- Cleaning and maintaining resort premises and equipment.
- Performing basic landscaping duties including tree trimming, weeding and watering of plants.
- Conduct basic repairs on landscaping and maintenance equipment.
- Ensuring that utility projects have been completed and signed off.
- Transporting clients within the resort.
- Carrying out vehicle maintenance checks.
- Ensure proper upkeep and cleanliness of vehicles.
- Refer all guest complaints to the Line Manger.
- Ensure the vehicles are serviced as at when due.
- Keep a clean and detailed vehicle log book.
- Report any irregularities or unusual circumstances to the Line Manager.
- Document all vehicle incidents ( i.e damages, accidents) and provide reports of incidents to Manager/Supervisor.
- Check tyre pressure and fluid levels for vehicles and refuel when necessary.
- Receiving and delivering items at assigned locations.
- Carries out any other official duties that may be assigned from time to time.
Qualification and Experience
- Previous experience as a Utility worker.
- Experience as a Driver
- Mininum of SSCE/O’levels
- Ability to read and interpret written work orders.
- Knowledge of mechanical and landscaping equipment.
- Basic mechanical and electrical knowledge.
- The ability to lift heavy objects
- Experience in taking delivery of items such as Food, Drinks, AGO, PMS Etc.
- Valid Driver’s license.
RENUMERATION: 480,000 Naira per annum
